John Thompson
Principal, Founder and Commissioning Agent
John Thompson is the Principal and Founder of Thompson Building Energy Solutions and has been continuous in the HVAC field since 1992 in the areas of building commissioning, energy conservation consulting, building audits, building controls and mechanical design. John Thompson Graduated with a BA in Business and has lived in Louisiana nearly his whole life. He holds certifications in Building Commissioning, Energy Management, Measurement and Verification, LEED and Sustainable Development.
Jonah Berman
Commissioning Professional
Jonah Berman is a commissioning professional for Thompson Building Energy Solutions, LLC and has been with the company since 2011. Jonah conducts mechanical, electrical and plumbing commissioning and is involved in building studies and energy audits. Jonah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2014. When he isn’t working, Jonah likes to work in his wood shop and spend time with his family.”
Brad Gaudet
Commissioning Technician
Brad Gaudet is a commissioning technician for Thompson Building Energy Solutions, LLC and has been with the company since 2020. Brad conducts mechanical, electrical and plumbing commissioning and is involved in building studies and energy audits. Brad graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2020. When he is not working, Brad enjoys fishing and working on his unfixable golf swing.
Josh Roser
Commissioning Technician
Josh Roser is a commissioning technician for Thompson Building Energy Solutions, LLC and has been with the company since 2021. Josh conducts mechanical, electrical and plumbing commissioning and is involved in building studies and energy audits. Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication Sports Journalism from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2013. When he is not working, Josh enjoys family events and home remodeling.
Luke Pocorello
Commissioning Technician
Luke Pocorello is a commissioning technician for Thompson Building Energy Solutions, LLC and has been with the company since 2023. Luke conducts mechanical, electrical and plumbing commissioning and is involved in building studies and design reviews. Luke graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University in 2023. When he is not working, Luke enjoys fishing and cheering on the Tigers.
Kate Thompson Stevenson
Work Product Creator
Kate Thompson is a commissioning work product creator and general assistant for Thompson Building Energy Solutions, LLC and has been with the company since 2021. Kate creates mechanical, electrical and plumbing commissioning testing forms, generates reports, estimates jobs and performs design reviews. Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2020. When she is not working, Kate enjoys scrapbooking and playing board games.
Kristen Thompson
Bookkeeper
Kristen Thompson is the bookkeeper for Thompson Building Energy Solutions, LLC and has been with the company since 2017. Kristen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1990. When she is not working, Kristen enjoys painting and feeding cows.
